Our Story
A new chapter in a very old story.
The Post House is the next chapter in a journey that has
always been about beautiful things, thoughtful design and the people who make them.
When we discovered Havelock’s former Post Office, built in 1876,
we saw the opportunity to bring those ideas together in a place with a story of its own.
Today, The Post House is part gallery, part design
store and part celebration of creativity, a carefully curated collection of
art, jewellery, textiles, ceramics and objects for the home, presented within
one of Havelock’s beautiful old buildings.
We believe the things we choose to live with should have
meaning. They should connect us to a maker, a place, a material or a moment.
That philosophy guides everything we bring into The Post House.
